One off designs in the name of Charity......

Catalyst has recently aligned itself with the charity ‘Kidscan’ by creating one off garments for their extraordinary charity events. Kidscan is a great charity that raises money for under priviledged NZ kids to put raincoats on their backs and food in their stomachs. Kidscan has organized some of the biggest shows on the social calendar and Catalyst has been very proud to be apart of them. Most recently we were involved in Fantasia which saw a very ‘one off’ lingerie outfit designed for a Victoria Secret inspired show. Prior to that we were involved in Adi-couture which saw designer Jane Laird put together a sports inspired outfit which was modeled by ‘Libby’ from Shortland Street.

NZ actress models Catalyst at celebrity event

Siobhan Marshall, one of the stars of New Zealand’s newest drama series, Outrageous Fortune, modeled a specially designed Catalyst outfit at the recent Fashion Rocks! charity fashion event in Auckland.   The theme for the celebrity fashion parade was “I see red” and designer Jane Laird created a gorgeous embroidered red lace dress trimmed with satin straps and finished with an under-the-bust tie-front bow,  topped with a plush red velvet curved coat.   The Auckland City Mission was the charity that benefited from funds raised at the glamorous event.

Catalyst makes primetime news & weather

TV3 Stylist Tracy Dalton has been ordering the latest Catalyst summer styles for primetime news anchor Hilary Barry and Nightline presenter Carly Kirkwood.   Tracy sees the range at the start of each season to make sure she doesn’t miss out on getting the styles and sizes to suit her presenters.  Over on competing channel, TV One, weather presenter Karen Olsen has been spotted wearing the Velvet Ice-Square Cardigan from the winter range.

NZ Woman’s Weekly
