Heavenly Creatures Collection Summer 2010
This season's Catalyst collection took its inspiration from a gorgeous summer’s garden. Every novelty fabric is stunning and unique, and inherently Catalyst. The range covers off all styling requirements, from dressy day and resort wear, to weddings, races and after five wear.
Loyal Catalyst lovers won't be disappointed with the comprehensive variety of styles on offer - tops, tunics, dresses, cardies and soft cover ups, in new shapes as well as fresh interpretations of the Catalyst classics.
Bottoms are catered for in two great fabrications - Bugatti, a crisp twill weave stretch cotton great for casual and dressy day looks; and Tarantino, a soft stretch matt satin perfect for completing evening and occasion outfits.
The Thorn Birds is a gorgeous floral print, exclusive to Catalyst, on a silk cotton base, featuring a classic colour palette of pink and green.
The story is divided into two parts, the first offering dressier styling suitable for weddings and races in The Thorn Birds print.
The second offering fun spliced knit garments that can be dressed up or down, and look great mixed and matched together or merchandised back with plains to balance the look.
Photoflower is a fantastic digital print developed from original artwork and featuring a multitude of colours on a silver grey Cotton Satin base. Photoflower is exclusive to Catalyst. This story mixes up the print pieces with some soft knit styling trimmed with tulle, and offers a fresh summery look.
Wild Orchid is our second exclusive digital print also developed from original artwork. This design is printed on a soft sheer chiffon, showing the print and stunning array of colours off to their best advantage. Styling is soft and easy to wear, with a summery resort feel, and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
The Dream Catcher story offers delicate ivory garments in a variety of styles that balance and accent the print and colour stories. The story offers several gorgeous fabrics, such as Fanfare, a beautiful embroidered cotton; Heavenly, a silky soft sheer chiffon; and not to mention the namesake of the story, Dream Catcher, a gorgeous embroidered tulle.
Crushed Roses is an exclusive ivory based crushed finish cotton, with a hint of nostalgia, featuring this season's carnation pink along with black and hints of grey. Accents of solid colour and a crinkled stripe bring the print to life. The styling is feminine and capable of working for casual or dressy summer occasions.
Butterfly Kisses is an irresistible butterfly print on a silk chiffon base, and is exclusive to Catalyst in the coral pink colourway. The styling is stunning with four great shapes offered in this fabric, which work from dressy day through to occasion.
The finale story, Marie Claire provides a variety of looks and styles with a cocktail/after 5 feel, in timeless black. Marie Claire is an exclusive silk viscose burnout with a delicate floral print. The story is trimmed beautifully with satin, lace, beading and sequins.
